Yesterday the Political Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe met in Paris and examined the report on Albania. Due to the irritation caused by it in the Assembly and the recent parliamentary visits and the government's positions, the issue of membership in the Council of Europe has been moving forward in Paris. The former deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of the PDSH, Spartak Ngjela, describing the report as unacceptable for Albania, asked this forum to postpone the examination for a longer period as well.
