Under this law, the Crisis Resolution Agency will be established, which will perform the duties that until now belonged to the Supervisory Commission. The Agency will administer assets owned by citizens in order to carry out their repayment on the basis of the list of creditors and the proposed distribution scheme. According to this draft decision, the administration at VEFA will also pass into public administration and all its assets will be placed under observation, in order to sell them and distribute them to creditors with the remaining value. The law provides that at the moment the decision on public administration is taken, the recording, valuation and distribution of property shall begin, according to the scheme with the right of selection. One of the points that has caused a reaction is the manner of distributing ownership and making payments according to creditors. Sources close to the government say that the scheme will initially be extended to the largest entities and that a special administration is being considered for VEFA because of the scale of its activity.
