Americans chopped up our boys of the war [?]

An appeal by Prime Minister Pandeli Majko regarding a 20-day stay in one of those military camps for the Kosovars sheltered in Albania. Majko said that, despite their desire, the greatest wish of the people there is either to leave as quickly as possible, or not to leave Albania at all, since the future remains uncertain. The refugee complexes in Durrës-Mamurras are being considered inadequate and temporary relocation to military bases is seen as a necessary solution. According to the article, from a camp with the poultry of Albania, most of the sanitation workers left and went away, while a part of the refugees do not believe the promise made that they will return to their homes. Some are calling Albania the closest country and therefore see it as the only shelter. From the Albanian government’s side, it is stressed that temporary solutions are sought, but not the forced removal of Kosovars. Clinton orders: freeze Belgrade’s assets

The US expands sanctions against Yugoslavia President Bill Clinton issued the order to block assets that could help the Yugoslav economy. The order would apply to entities that could favor or support Milošević’s regime. According to the announcement, the measure applies to companies, individuals and institutions linked to Belgrade and the Yugoslav government. This is part of the escalation of American pressure because of the war in Kosovo and Serbian repression. Restrictions on transfers, contracts and frozen assets within American jurisdiction now enter into force. The American administration stressed that any action that violates the embargo or helps the Yugoslav army will be punished. The order aims to isolate the regime economically and strengthen the diplomatic front against Belgrade. The American fighter yesterday in front of a tank (REUTERS)
