The government is insisting on bringing down the pyramid scheme
The Prosecutor General, Rakipi
TIRANA - The Prosecutor General, Arben Rakipi, said yesterday in an interview for the TVSH program "Dritare" that the VEFA company had Italian consultancy involved in its operations, a company which has been found to be linked to Italian mafia figures (as the person) and which is considered to be the first of its kind as a European enterprise. Regarding this, Rakipi said that it is up to the Albanian अदालत to decide how to assess them. The wording of the supervisor's meeting arrangement? previously with the articles of the system? ...[?]
RAPITI? also chose a new feature of the debate related to this issue. He said that the government may exercise its right to file a criminal complaint. According to Rakipi, leaving the matter only to civil trial would block the action of the state. These statements by the head of the prosecution were made at a time when the government is making efforts to bring down VEFA in court, accusing it of being a creation of the mafia.
Government representatives had previously made similar accusations, presenting the company as part of an Italian criminal network. On the other hand, the company's defense has denied these accusations.
The undercurrents? of this issue, according to press commentary, are linked to the major conflict of interest between state institutions and private business in Albania. In some fragments of the text the wording is unclear because of the image quality.[?]
