Reflections on the parties In the upcoming elections for the country’s prime minister, most parties are presenting programs and demands for political, economic, and social change. Among them, the Republican Party has also made known its positions on reforming public administration, a market economy, and privatization. According to its program, the party calls for a greater role for the state in creating conditions for sound economic development, but without excessive interference in market mechanisms. It stresses the need for legality, clear property rights, and protection of private business. In the statements of its representatives, the Republican Party has insisted that the transition must not lead to the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few people, but should create equal opportunities for citizens. The party also speaks of the need to improve the education system and social services. Within this framework, it calls for deep reforms in the state administration, decentralization, and greater transparency in governance.
