On 25.02.94, representatives of the Republican Party declared that the PR is a right-wing political force in Albania and that it has a program aimed at protecting private property and developing a market economy.
Speaking in the commission, they emphasized that the PR will stand alongside democratic reforms and seeks a small, orderly state, a free economy, and respect for property. The discussions mentioned that this positioning places the party on a conservative and anti-communist line.
According to Republican representatives, the property issue remains one of the main topics in Albania’s transition and the land law should be reviewed to avoid the injustices created so far.
Me 25.02.94, përfaqësuesit e Partisë Republikane kanë deklaruar se PR është një forcë politike e djathtë në Shqipëri dhe se ka një program që synon mbrojtjen e pronës private dhe zhvillimin e një ekonomie tregu.
Duke folur në komision, ata theksuan se PR do të jetë në krah të reformave demokratike dhe se kërkon një shtet të vogël, të rregullt, me ekonomi të lirë dhe me respekt të pronës. Në diskutime u përmend se ky pozicionim e vendos partinë në një linjë konservatore dhe antikomuniste.
Sipas përfaqësuesve republikanë, çështja e pronës mbetet një nga temat kryesore në tranzicionin shqiptar dhe ligji për tokën duhet të rishikohet për të shmangur padrejtësitë e krijuara deri tani.
Il 25.02.94, i rappresentanti del Partito Repubblicano hanno dichiarato che il PR è una forza politica di destra in Albania e che ha un programma volto a proteggere la proprietà privata e a sviluppare un’economia di mercato.
Parlando in commissione, hanno sottolineato che il PR sarà al fianco delle riforme democratiche e che cerca uno Stato piccolo, ordinato, con economia libera e rispetto della proprietà. Nei dibattiti è stato menzionato che questo posizionamento colloca il partito su una linea conservatrice e anticomunista.
Secondo i rappresentanti repubblicani, la questione della proprietà resta uno dei temi principali della transizione albanese e la legge sulla terra dovrebbe essere riesaminata per evitare le ingiustizie create finora.
