50 billion dollars for the BALKANS

New politics under the shackles of old politics The fierce political struggle in the country and the resurgence of grudges and egos could cost Albania dearly An APACHE crashes in Dajt 50 victims, 7 sick and in the raid together with Kosovo and the economic future of Southeastern Europe. This success marked the failure of a wholly artificial euphoria. In Korçë, Parliament applauded the figure for our country with both hands. On 10 April, the countries of the so-called Marshall Plan 2 for Southeastern Europe commented that Southeastern Europe is becoming a zone of decision taken by the USA, the EU countries and others, focused on closing the wounds of transition and war in the region. Meanwhile, the New Europe project, with a sum of 50 billion marks and dollars, is the signal that seeks to place all the countries of the region into a new framework of economic and democratic development. From this amount, it will be of particular importance for Albania whether Kosovo and Albania will be included together in the same reconstruction program. U.S. President Bill Clinton has described this initiative as a program that can be compared to the postwar plan in Western Europe. This is an initiative to help the countries of Southeastern Europe recover their economies and consolidate democratic institutions. Logically, Albania may be among the countries that will benefit the most, but at the same time also among the countries that may lose the most if domestic politics continues to remain hostage to conflict, jealousy and egoism. On the other hand, this is also a major test for the Albanian political class, which must prove seriousness and responsibility. Hard times and major challenges await Albania. For this perhaps it also benefits from the EU, thanks [and?] to investments and [not?] to [agreements?] of an association. On the [side?] it has opened as [a house?], as far as [concerns?] [analyses?] of EU [comments?]. More [in?] Europe [in?] [not?] [for?] the [old?] [republic?], Albania and Macedonia may benefit [more?] in [halving?] the [funds?], Albania and Macedonia may [provide?] [notes?] as a mutual [case?] of the strength [of?] integration in Europe and this [thing?] [will?] [be?] [year?].
