In Tirana’s Block, dictator Enver Hoxha, as well as his successors and high state figures, were installed in buildings that were not opened to the public. Under the law, the archives of the Party of Labour and the documents of the communist period are under state administration and restricted in use. For a long time, the debate over opening these materials has remained unresolved. In state archives, as well as in old newspapers, many traces of communist propaganda and forbidden history can be found.
